- Crew Interview Part 2 ::
<<<PREVIOUS

Q: What did you get for working on
the film?
I got to make a whole bunch of friends and know a whole lot more
about
film and the whole process and the even harder stuff like getting
people
organized and doing the stuff to keep people sane like getting them
places to sleep and getting the food, that stuff seems a lot harder
than like
f/stops and dolly moves. but acting is hard too. i am glad we had
many
talented people here to make the film enjoyable.
Q: What fights did you witness?
I saw the robot who replaced travis kill the real travis the first
night when everybody else was at that meeting. although the robot
told me
never to tell anybody this, this robot worked very hard and always
loaded
film and did slate amoungst many other things.
Q:
Which cast or crew member did you connect with the most? Why?
It was cool to get to know richie sherman a bit better, it was great
to
meet kerry, and great to meet rich schrieber too. I don't know,
i was
usually working under richie and kerry the most and they were really
kind and
creative people and then i thought rich was very funny and an
interesting person.
Q:
Which cast or crew member made you feel the most uncomfortable?
Why?
I thought everybody was amazed by how good Will was as Donald, he
was
so good that everybody was in awe of him at times i thought, and
i think
only chris really got to say that he was a fan of his music. Will
was
interesting in that he sort of made you react to him in a certain
way,
but then i remember we all got to know a lot better when we talked
about
stuff at dinner during the school auditorium stuff, that was really
fun.
Andy nadler was weird, sometimes he'd say some real strange stuff
but
other times he could be sweet too. he was interesting, i wonder
what that
guy who shot the miniDV interview inside that car got from him.
i don't think i mean either of these uncomfortable in bad ways.
Q:
How has this shoot changed you?
i feel like i don't do anything in a day unless i'm up for more
than 14 hours
in the hot sun, talking with a bunch of people and there are giant
anamorphic
lenses around me. also i notice how light looks more, i sometimes
try to guess
what light readings are for certain speeds of film if there's a
light meter around.
